on Friday 30th November to be a FREE screening for all those affiliated
to the production. If you can make it to Newport on Friday your name
will be on a Guest List which will allow you and 1 Guest to be admitted
at no charge. If you wish to go to a screening on another day at the
Newport Cineworld let me know and I can arrange for your free admission
on that day instead. I know the management at the Newport branch and I'm
dealing with them directly, unlike the other venues, which is why that
venue is the one we can get free passes to. It will NOT be a red carpet
premiere, just a regular screening, so there is no dress code. PLEASE
NOTE: The film has been certified 18 in the UK so no one under 18 will
be able to attend.
I apologise for the very short notice but it has taken a long and huge
effort to get our micro budget independent film into a big Cinema chain
such as Cineworld. Having only reached agreement last week we have had
to take the only available slot they could offer us which begins 30th
November. Otherwise we would have had to wait until next year for the
theatrical dates which would have affected the Home Entertainment
release. So I hope you will understand the tight time frame and
appreciate what an achievement it is for a micro budget indie film to be
in a cinema chain alongside big budget blockbusters like Skyfall and
Twilight.
If everyone who will be attending Friday can send me a reply to confirm
that would be great. Also feel free to get in touch with me if you have
any questions. If there is anyone I have forgotten in this mass email I
apologise and hope someone will pass the information on if I have missed
anyone out.
Many thanks,
Andrew Jones | |
